You probably know we looove a good theme party, so let's all just admit that's what a wedding really is:
Two humans dress up as bride(s) and/or groom(s), and the rest of the party people dress up as wedding guests.
We'll take on the burden to dress up as bride & groom this time, so this leaves you with the following wedding guest costume theme:
"Summer Cocktail Cartel Señorita meets Pastel Romance Casanova Overlord"
Think summerly pastel colours, linen shirts, breathable lightweight fabric, comfy shoes, and a cartel señorita / casanova overlord attitude. 😎
Obviously you can wear whatever you like, but we highly recommend the following:
Shorts instead of long pants
Short or rolled up linen shirts (unbuttoned, no tie)
Shorter dress, or maxi dress with slit to keep cool
Flats instead of heels (flat summer sandals are totally fine - please do not wear heels, unless you absolutely want to)
Light/breathable shoes instead of dress shoes (e.g. boat shoes or espadrilles (feel free to bring flip flops for later in the evening)
Light colours instead of dark colours to reflect the sun (please only wear white/ivory/champagne if you are also getting married on that day 🤓😎😘)
Feel free to bring bathers & towel for a dip in the pool

We understand wedding gifts are a custom in many cultures, so we wanted to share what's in our hearts:

We appreciate you joining our celebrations in Lombok more than we can describe with words, so your presence is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. 🤍

If you’ve got a favourite bottle of wine or a go-to spirit that never lets you down, feel free to pack it and bring it along for our secret speakeasy bar.

Of course we’ll have an official wedding bar slinging cocktails and beers etc, but tracking down your top-shelf favourites (especially good wine!) in Indonesia can be a bit of a mission.
So in addition to the visible bar, we'll set up a cosy secret space to pour, mix, and share the love.🍸

Little Humans
While we absolutely adore your little ones, we’d love for you to enjoy the wedding without any caretaking duties or mini-humans to wrangle. 🥂
The venue has a few high ledges, unfenced pool, and other not-so-kid-friendly quirks, so for safety reasons, we kindly ask that only children aged 7 and up attend (old enough to know that gravity is not their friend).
If you’ve decided to bring younger kids to Lombok, we’d be more than happy to arrange trusted, vetted nannies for the day - just let us know what you need and we’ll take care of the rest. 🤍

While we adore your kids, we would love for you to be free of any caretaking responsibilities at our wedding.
The venue isn’t very kid safe (attending kids should be at least 7 years old so they can understand the risk of falling etc).
We kindly ask you to leave younger kids with another carer. We'd be more than happy to organise vetted nannies for your little ones for the day, just let us know your needs. 🤍
